Need Encouragement?

Do you need encouragement? Here's an email from a friend who has severe health problems, has had to move in with family in another state, is beginning again with doctors, making friends, finding a church.  Whatever your struggles today, I pray this will encourage you.

"I am learning it is the small things in life to praise God for. Walking without falling is one. But this morning I had to run the garbage out to the street, the stars were shining! This is in the city, I do not get out much and especially at 6.15!

Orion's belt and possibly part of the Big Dipper, God put every star in place and He knows me! Awesome. And then when I was washing the dishes, I watched God's birds, male and female cardinal - yes he is the bright red one - morning doves, chickadees and sparrows and yes I have two with very furry tails (squirrels who literally jump 3.5 feet to eat in the bird feeder) come and dine at their Father's table. I am reminded that He too has prepared a table for me.
So rejoice in the little things. God is there. Stop to rejoice that He has put us here on His earth to enjoy life. Have a blessed day."
